"A Triple Nomination For A Tremendous Trio"
In the week where Mel went solo on a Parisian Buying Trip, the Tillett Sisters were busy packing for Grace’s Honeymoon and Nutty had a trip to the Vets (don’t worry, he’s fine) – We also received news that we had been shortlisted as finalists for no less than three categories at the National Business Women’s Awards!
A Grand Ceremony which is due to take place at Wembley Stadium on the 7th December will be attended by the Tilletts Trio, accompanied by their Business Coach and Mentor; John McHale. Fencing off remarkable competition, Tilletts have reached the finals of ‘Small Business Woman of The Year’, ‘Influential Business Woman of The Year’ and ‘Service Excellence’.
Mel overwhelmed with the fantastic news, remarked:
“I can’t believe it, it’s just amazing! To be named as a finalist is fantastic but to have been selected for all three is simply incredible!"
Newlywed Grace added:
"We are over the moon! To be shortlisted is an honour in itself but the icing on the cake is being invited to Wembley for the Grand Celebrations, we can’t wait!”
But nothing is ever easy at Tilletts! The girls will be racing straight back from the award ceremony in Wembley (hopefully with trophies in hand) back to Lincolnshire for the pre-booked Tilletts Christmas Party! We do like to keep them on their toes, don’t we?!
So, until then the girls will take it easy, rest up and chill out…….yeah right!! Q4 is the busiest quarter for any retailer no matter your niche. It begins with the build up to Halloween and Bonfire Night, quickly followed by Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas and ultimately New Year….speaking of, where has this year gone? I could swear it was only last week myself, John and Jess were cramped in a small office with the Tilletts and three lively dogs prepping for these very same occasions. How time flies when you’re having fun, and what a fun year it has been! But now is not the time for reminiscing, after all its only T minus 42 days until Black Friday! On that note - I’ve got to go, there’s still so much to do and so little time…….but my goodness is it going to be worth it ladies!
I spy Mel back from her trip......sssshhhh! I’ve already said too much!
