"Keep Going. Keep Growing."

We’re almost half way through the year and so much has already happened! At the beginning of 2018 I wrote about our expansion and inevitable move into a new and larger Tilletts HQ with a custom-built warehouse and office. Since then we have grown even further, knocking through to another unit (courtesy of Mr.T and his Merry Men) and adding an extra warehouse onto our already growing presence. This much needed extension has allowed us as a company to order in and store larger quantities of stock including a broader range of lines. As we continue to expand it is our intention to continue along this path but that doesn’t mean you should ever forget the golden rule of Tilletts!!

‘Be quick ladies because once it’s gone, it’s gone!’

As you ladies all know, we are fast fashion and that means the styles are forever changing, almost as quickly as the sun is replaced by rain in England! So, despite us being able to store more of each line now that doesn’t mean your item will be safe sat in the basket at the checkout. Stick to the three P’s to secure your purchase;

You may have also heard some chatter (who, us?) of our recent wins at a couple of prestigious award ceremonies……to be recognised for our growth and success not just locally but internationally as well is beyond amazing! We cannot thank you enough for your support and loyalty to Tilletts, without you, none of this would ever have been possible. So just in case you missed the announcements, I am more than happy to report that we secured the honour of ‘Best Retailer’ at the Business Excellence Awards seeing off competition from Companies all across Europe. Following a win in 2017 for 'Best Marketing Campaign', this year we also achieved finalist positions in ‘Best Overall Company’ and ‘Biggest Growth’. A fantastic triumph which we are incredibly proud of. Our most recent win of ‘Business Growth’ awarded to us by Northern Lincolnshire Business has a special place in our heart as a much coveted, local award. The night was filled with music and laughter whilst the awards themselves have become infamous for their themed galas and performances, this year consisting of Beauty and the Beast. A truly magical night all round.

As the Tilletts Brand continues to grow and thrive, the Tilletts family continues to expand alongside it. Our recent recruits include Anna, Alice, Bonnie and Lorraine who have all joined us as Sales Assistants in store whilst HQ has employed three new warehouse assistants – Lilli, Yasmin and the familiar face of Lilley Bridges who has been part of the Tilletts family for some time now. Whilst she continues to study hard at University, her breaks are always filled with shifts back in Tilletts Town. Lilley is a delight to have around and we are so pleased to have her back for the Summer!

Recently we advised you all that we were planning to take a step into Next Day Delivery as this is something that our customers have requested from us for a long time. Today was our first day implementing this method and fingers crossed so far it all seems to be going very well. Your feedback is always greatly appreciated so please do let us know what you think of the new service, we are currently in the trial stages, so we hope you like it but it’s important to us to let us know if you don’t.

At Tilletts we strive to always be learning and improving on ourselves, so we can provide the best possible Tilletts Experience. As we move forward with the company we hope you will continue to join us on our journey. It’s been a heck of a ride so far and it’s only going to get wilder and faster!!
